Tomato, Onion, And Basil On French Bread

Ingrients & Directions


3 lg Tomato — sliced 1/4″ thick
1 sm Onion — in rings
12 Leaves basil
3 tb Olive oil
1 tb Balsamic vinegar
Salt and pepper
1 French bread loaf

Place the tomatoes, onion and basil in a bowl. Sprinkle with the
olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper. Toss gently. Taste
for seasoning. Spoon the mixture evenly over 4 of the pieces of bread
and top with the remaining 4 pieces. The sandwiches keep well
wrapped for up to 8 hours.
