1 3/4 c Finely chopped walnuts 1/3 c Milk
3 tb Margarine or butter — 4 oz Cream cheese — softened
-melted 2 tb Sugar
1 pk 4 oz German sweet chocolate 1 8 oz tub Cool whip — thawed
Mix walnuts and margarine in 9-inch pie plate until well blended.
Press onto bottom and up sides of pie plate. Refrigerate. Microwave
chocolate and 2 Tbls. of the milk in large microwavable bowl on HIGH
1 1/2 to 2 minutes or until chocolate is almost melted, stirring
halfway through heating time. Stir until chocolate is completely
melted. Beat in cream cheese, sugar and remaining milk until well
blended. Refrigerate about 10 minutes to cool. Gently stir in whipped
topping until smooth. Spoon into crust. Freeze 4 hours or until firm.
Garnish as desired. Let stand at room temperature about 30 minutes or
until pie can be easily cut. Store leftover pie in freezer. Makes 8
servings.
