Almond Poppy Bread (machine) – Large Loaf

Ingrients & Directions


3/4 c Water
3 c White bread flour
1 1/2 tb Dry milk
1 ts Salt
1 1/2 tb Butter
3/4 c Lemon yogurt
2 tb Honey
1/2 c Almonds, sliced and toasted
1 tb Lemon peel, dried
3 tb Poppy seeds
2 ts Yeast, fast rise or machine
3 ts Yeast, active dry

This soft yellow bread is reminiscent of your favorite poppy seed
muffin, but versatile enough to take you from breakfast to dessert.

Toast almonds lightly in a shallow pan. STIRRING FREQUENTLY, bake at
350 degrees for 5 minutes or until golden brown.
