1 c Packed brown sugar 1 ts Salt
3/4 c Butter or margarine — 1/2 ts Baking soda
Softened 1/2 c Maraschino cherries —
1 ea Egg Drained & chopped
2 tb Milk 1/2 c Pecans — chopped
1 ts Vanilla extract 1/2 c Coconut flakes
2 c All-purpose flour
In a large mixing bowl, cream brown sugar, butter, egg, milk, and
vanilla. Combine flour, salt and baking soda; gradually add to
creamed mixture. Fold in cherries, pecans and coconut. Drop by
teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 375 deg. for 10-12
min. or until golden brown. Yield: 4 dozen.
