2 cn Tart red cherries — 16 oz 1 pk Whlte cake mix
ea Drained 18 1/4 oz (without pudding)
1 cn Crushed pineapple 1/2 c Butter or margarine —
20 oz In syrup,undrained Melted
1/3 c Walnuts — finely chopped Whipped cream, optional
Spread cherries and pineapple with juice over the bottom of an
ungreased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking pan. Top with nuts. Sprinkle
dry cake mix over all. Pour butter evenly over cake mix. Bake at 350
deg. for 1 hour. Cool. Invert onto a serving plate. Cut into squares.
Top with whipped cream if desired. Yield: 12-15 servings
