5 lg Eggs
3/4 c Brown sugar
3 c Milk
1 tb Almond extract
1 Loaf; (10 oz.) Italian or
; French bread, cut
; into 1 inch cubes
9 oz Bittersweet chocolate;
-chopped into pieces
1/2 c Sliced almonds
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, milk and
almond extract until well blended. Gently stir in the bread cubes,
chocolate chunks and almonds.
Pour the mixture into a 9×13 inch baking pan, sprayed with non-stick
cooking spray. Bake at 325? for 45-50 minutes or until the mixture is
set. Serve warm. Serves 8.
