1 1/2 c All-purpose flour 1 ts Salt
3/4 c Whole wheat flour 1/2 ts Baking soda
2 tb Sugar 1/4 c Shortening
1 1/2 ts Baking powder 1 c Buttermilk
In a bowl, combine flours, sugar, baking powder, salt and baking
soda. Cut in shortening until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Add milk and mix just until dough is moistened. Knead on floured
board for 3-5 minutes. Pat onto an ungreased 12-in. pizza pan. Bake
at 350 deg. for 30 minutes or until golden. Cool for 10 minutes
before removing to a wire rack. Cut into pieces. Yield: 6-8 servings
