3 tb Fresh chives, chopped
-fine , morm, is fine
3 Cloves fresh garlic,
-chopped fine or minced
1 c Sourdough starter
1 tb Yeast [7.5 g, I think]
1 c Warm water or coffee
1 ts Sugar
1 ts Salt
1 c Quick oats
4 c To 5 cups flour

Dissolve yeast in water or coffee in glass or ceramic bowl.[or
plastic] Add starter, oats and sugar. Stir in 2 cups flour. Add
chives, garlic, and and salt. Add remaining flour, 1 cup at a time,
until dough handles well and isn’t sticky. Knead well, and let rise
in greased bowl until nearly doubled. Knock down, knead a bit, and
let rise again. When almost doubled, knock down, divide in half, and
place in greased loaf pans. Let rise again. Bake at 400F for about
35 minutes.
Serve with butter, but not to people who don’t like garlic!
