Ginger Bread #2

Ingrients & Directions


1 Egg, beaten 1 1/2 c All-purpose flour
1/2 c Sugar 1 ts Baking soda
1/2 c Light molasses 1 ts Ground ginger
5 tb Butter or margarine, melted 1/2 ts Salt
2/3 c Cold water Whipped cream

Combine egg, sugar, molasses, butter, & water. Mix well. In lg
mixing bowl,stir together flour, baking soda, ginger, & salt. Add
molasses mixture. Beat until well-mixed. Pour into a greased, 8″
square baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 min. or until cake
tests done. Serve warm with whipped cream.
