Gold Cake^

Ingrients & Directions


1 2/3 c Flour
1 ts Baking powder
1/2 ts Salt
10 Egg yolks
1/2 c Boiling water
1 c Sugar

Mix together flour, baking powder and salt; sift three times. Beat
the egg yolks a little. Add the boiling water a little at a time. Add
the sugar slowly. Beat for 10 minutes. By hand, carefully fold in
sifted flour mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for an hour.

temperatures. I have typed them in as they appear in the book, typos
and all.
