1 c Oats
1 1/4 c Boiling water
2 Eggs; well beaten
1 c White sugar
1 Stick butter
1 c Brown sugar
1 ts Cinnamon
1/2 ts Salt
1 ts Vanilla
TOPPING
1 c Brown sugar
1 c Shredded coconut
1/2 c Cream
4 tb Butter
CAKE: Combine oats and water. Let stand 20 minutes. Mix eggs, sugar,
butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt and vanilla. Mix with oats. Bake in
9×13-inch pan at 350 for 30 minutes or until done. TOPPING: Combine
ingredients. Spread on cake while hot; broil a minute to brown topping.
Best if served warm.
