3 c Flour
4 ts Baking powder
1 ts Salt
1 c Sugar
1 Orange rind; grated
1 Egg; beaten
1 c Milk
2 tb Melted butter
1 1/2 c Sliced cranberries
1 c Chopped nuts
Sift dry ingredients; add rind. Combine egg, milk and butter. Gradually add
flour mixture. Add cranberries and nuts. Pour into greased and floured loaf
pan. Bake at 350 for 1 hour. Cool. Wrap in foil and chill before slicing.
Makes delicious sandwiches with butter or cream cheese. Delicious buttered
and toasted.
