1/2 c Margarine or butter
1 c Semisweet chocolate chips
1 1/2 c Gold Medal all-purpose flour
1 c Sugar
1 c Chopped nuts
1/2 ts Baking powder
1/2 ts Vanilla
1/4 ts Salt
2 Eggs
48 Miniature marshmallows
Heat oven to 400 degrees. Heat margarine and 1/2 cup of the chocolate chips
in 1 qt. saucepan over low heat, stirring frequently, until melted; remove
from heat and cool. Mix remaining chocolate chips, the melted chocolate
mixture and remaining ingredients except marshmallows. Drop dough by
rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Press 1 marshmallow in center of each Bake about 8 minutes or until almost
no indentation remains when touched. Immediately remove from cookie sheet.
Cook on wire rack. Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
