2 c Flour, all purpose
4 ts Baking powder
1 tb Sugar
1/2 ts Onion salt
1/2 ts Crushed oregano
1/4 ts Dry mustard
1 c Shredded cheddar
1 Egg, well beaten
1 c Milk
1 tb Butter or margarine, melted
Stir together flour, baking powder, sugar, onion salt, oregano, dry mustard
and cheddar cheese in a bowl. Combine egg, milk and butter; add all at once
to dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened. Spread batter in a
greased 4-1/2×8-1/2×2-1/2 inch loaf pan. Bake in a preheated 350F oven for
45 minutes. Cool 10 minutes on wire rack. Remove from pan.
