1/2 c Butter, softened 2 oz Hershey chocolate bar
1/2 c Sugar 6 oz Chocolate chips
1/2 c Brown sugar 1 c Flour
1 ea Egg 1/4 ts Salt
1/2 ts Vanilla 1/2 ts Baking powder
1 1/4 c Oatmeal 1/2 ts Baking soda
Cream Together 1/2 cup butter, 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup brown sugar. Add
egg and vanilla. Add small amounts of oatmeal in blender and blend into a
powder. Set aside. Grate 2 oz. plain Hershey bar – set aside. In a large
bowl mix; oatmeal, flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Combine all
remaining ingredients (except chocolate) and mix well. Add a 6 oz bag of
chocolate chips and grated Hershey bar. Make golfball sized cookies. Bake
on an ungreased cookie sheet for 6 minutes at 375 deg f. Don’t over cook!
